In Nigüelas there are 4 food establishments, a bread-shop with own products and a presents shop.

To find bigger establishments, you only must go to Dúrcal, the nearest village (in 3 Kilometres) with about 7000 neighbours. Or best, you can go to Granada that is in 15 minutes by car.

When you ask for a beer or a wine glass in one of the 5 bars in Nigüelas, the barman will offer you the "tapa". Each establishment has their own "tapas", always diversity and generous. And all this with cheap prices: for example, a glass of beer with its "tapa" cost only 0,75 Euros.

To have a cheap drink, in Nigüelas you can do it for about 3 Euros. But if you prefer to see a lot of people, you can find them all days in Granada (where in winter the students live the night) or in the coast (where in summer there are a lot of tourist, especially in Salobreña or Almuñecar)

There is an only restaurant in Nigüelas: "La Alquería de los Lentos", but it is very nice. It is in and old flour mill fully restored in 2.000, and it offers you typical meals.

But if you are looking for variety, there another restaurants near Nigüelas. We can recommend you "La Buhardilla" in Dúrcal (excellent cooker) or "Los Naranjos" in Melegís village (10 Km) placed in a fabulous environment.

If you like sea on the day, but you need rest after this, Nigüelas is the ideal place, in only 40 Km. of the coast.
